Lawson Industrial Estate Development Alternatives

Timeframe: Sept 2004 – ongoing

Investigators: Dr John Merson (UNSW), Michael Kachka (independent consultant)

Aims: Exploring more sustainable options for industry and businesses in the town of Lawson, which is situated within the GBM World Heritage Area. An expression of interest is being developed for the Greenhouse Office Solar Cities program, and waste minimisation options being investigated. In partnership with Integral Energy, energy audits will be undertaken throughout the township of Lawson, with the aim of achieving lower energy usage.
