Low Carbon Living newsletter

Welcome to the Low Carbon Living newsletter.

It’s been a month for breaking records …again! The Bureau of Meteorology announced that we have just had the hottest winter and the hottest September on record. Given  that this summer is likely to break further heat records, our focus is on energy, and particularly electricity generation.

We also look at the carbon reduction efforts of the YHA and the Summit adventure gear retailer in Katoomba.

Finally, there’s a powerful response from Naomi Klein to the horrendous storms that have battered the Carribean and the US southern states, along with a piece of interesting scientific analysis on the role of Antarctica on our global climate destiny. Read more.
